Certifications and standards
Every ThermoNord certification can be verified in international public databases. We do not promise performance. We prove it with documentation.

Passivhaus (PHI)
Passivhaus certification is awarded by the Passive House Institute (PHI) in Darmstadt, Germany, the most rigorous energy-efficiency standard in the world. ThermoNord holds PHI certification for the complete window system: Genesis 90 frame with Uf 0.8 W/m²K and Tripan Ultra Low-E glazing with Ug 0.5 W/m²K.
- Tested and certified by the Passive House Institute in Darmstadt
- Window thermal transmittance (Uw) below 0.8 W/m²K, exceeding European energy-efficiency standards
- Certification for the complete system, including both frame and glazing, not just individual components
- Verifiable in the public PHI database

CE marking
CE marking under EN 14351-1 certifies that ThermoNord windows meet all essential European requirements for windows and external doors. This includes testing and the declaration of performance for several critical characteristics.
